Dawn Paper, currently based in Slane, Co. Meath was established to manufacture a range of quality industrial cleaning paper and domestic tissue paper products for the Irish market. Research found that huge quantities of toilet tissue and towel were imported and there were very few producers of quality paper in Ireland.

Since our humble beginnings as a family business in 1988, we have seen a steady increase in demand for our quality paper product. This led to a continuous increase in our staff numbers with many of the original team still with us today. Our team receive extensive and continuous training and have in depth knowledge of our manufacturing process.

Our first production line was installed in June 2001, which enabled us to produce our own brand of domestic toilet tissue. The large production capabilities also allowed us to conduct contract manufacturing for other companies own brand and private labels.

The second production line was installed in 2008, which allows us to produce a large range of industrial, or “Away from Home” paper products.

In September 2002, we purchased a new state of the art manufacturing premises in Drogheda comprising of 70,000 sq ft. This facility was situated alongside the main M1 motorway interchange, which was very beneficial to our countrywide distribution.

Since we last purchased machinery, there have been significant advances in new technology and with a huge €5 Million investment in 2016, we now have 2 ultra-modern, fully automatic paper converting lines, enabling us to bring a range of high quality paper products to the Irish and UK markets.
